Watching undercover boss.

I just talked with my grandson (my favorite, the one I´m inviting to Aruba if it works) and I got so stressed that I´m now watching undercover boss on TV.
The list of needs that young people have nowadays is long. But they are not willing to do much for anyone.
I have to think a lot about what he wants to get from Aruba and what he is willing to do to have it.
In Aruba I have a week at an apartment for 4. But he needs "more space" and "more intimacy". Funny. He was not born at Buckingham Palace that I know of.
My 2 daughters are hardworking women but both have made the mistake of giving their children too much and leaving too little for themselves.
So now I´m waiting for a wonderful dish I made that is a mixture between lunch and dinner. Felipe called me just when I was going to eat.
While I relax I will have to think. I will not spend my money paying for the air tickets for 2 people that need to be "away" so that they can have "intimacy". If they change their ideas, I could pay part of it ( not all). If they don´t, I will have to look for someone else to come with me. I don´t want another holiday similar to the one I had with Diego a few years ago.
Have you ever watched Undercover Boss?

I wholly agree. I did tell him that I had no money to pay for their airfare. I am offering to pay for their lodgings and the food we cook in the apartment in exchange for their company. If they are not interested, I´ll ask someone else.

Felipe did not exactly ask, But it seems that holidays are different for them. This might be the last time I see him. I told him what I could offer him. I´ll let it sink for a while and then call him again.

@kareng I wasn´t as happy after the phone talk as I had been before. I think that I´ll try to get another company.

It is not ungrateful as it was my offer. But now I did tell him the limits of what I could do. If they are not interested, I´ll find someone else of don´t go at all.

It sounds like spoiled kids and I wouldn't take him or them anywhere.

@DaddyEvil I have to take care of myself. My grandchildren are still hoping that their parents pay for their luxuries. Only Carolina lives with the money she earns and nothing else. If Felipe and his wife can´t pay for their trip, I will see if one of Dixie´s children can go with me.

@marguicha I don't blame you. You shouldn't go into debt just to entertain other people. If I had the money, I'd offer to go with you.

I´ll call him next month at the most. I can only offer them what is easy for me. I think that lodgings and food are a lot. If they can´t pay for the rest, I´ll find someone else or just don´t go.
