Love Mindless listening especially while driving.

Listening without attention is often seen with little value. But then there are scenarios it can be useful. I was caught in a bad traffic that kept me on road for some time. What kept me going was listening to radio. I did enjoy listening to radio and it served me a distract from the monotonous driving. There was less boredom or anger. I would say it improved my mood throughout the time although there was no mental stimulation. Perhaps mindless listening is a convenient way to pass the time while being on the road. Do you enjoy mindless listening especially while driving?

If I'm driving very far my daughter is with me and we're talking while I'm driving. Sometimes we're playing word games to pass the time. Or, thinking up silly things to help pass the time.

Well, when i was a child , I used to play word games with my family during long car rides. It was another great way to kill time. Thanks for sharing!

We listen to the radio on long trips or we might listen to an audio book.

No. I don't want a mindless listeningI would rather listen to music, or read a book when I am on a traffic, I don't know how to drive, but when I am commuting, traffic is unavoidable that is why I always bring my book or my headphone so I can listen to music... You know what irritates me now? Since cellphone store don't include earphone, many people are so inconsiderate listening to music or playing videos on their phones so loudly without putting an earphone!
