Stranger rescues a dog that was in a freezing river in Vermont

Chris MacRitchie was with his wife in Berlin Vermont when he saw a dog that was struggling to stay afloat in the Winooski River on Friday January 10 when Chris jumped into the river to rescue the dog by getting to the dog and gently push the dog to the shore where his wife used a sweatshirt to warm up the dog. Chris was with his wife were going through a drive through at a Dunkin' when he took action to rescue the dog was rescued, Chris called up Morgan Cerasoli who owns the dog since he saw the name of the owner from the dog tag. Morgan was grateful that Chris rescued her seven year old who went missing the previous day, The good news is that the dog is in good health thanks to the actions of Chris who was at the right place at the right place.
