I earned $125 from shopping

I bought my living room furniture at Bloomingdale’s. And a pair of sneakers too. By signing up to their Loyallist program, which earns you points for shopping at the store, I earned $125 for these purchases. I have until June I think to redeem the money. Not sure what to spend it on…
I hope I don’t have to pay with their credit card to redeem the money because I have a balance on the card from financing the furniture and don’t want to be charged interest potentially on any new purchases. I still don’t know how that works.

I want to go to the actual store to look for something. It’s far away from my house though. Gonna be a long commute by public transportation.

Not sure if that applies in this case as the many I earned is not in my credit card account.

@lovebuglena so a 2.5% discount, basically. Well better than a poke in the eye, as they say!

I’m assuming when I buy something they will deduct $125 from the amount and I will pay the difference. If I buy something that is less than $125 not sure how that will work. Would they just deduct the total from the $125 and I will have money left over to spend on something else?

@lovebuglena You should call and find out the details about this program so you are not taken by surprise.
