Yesterday my youngest granddaughter, who is six, was diagnosed with Fifth Disease and got a day off of school. She went to the doctor and was told this is a viral thing and that it was on its way out of her system and that she was no longer contagious. That meant that she was back to school today! She was not a big fan of that verdict, especially since it was Friday. She told her mom on the way to be dropped off at school that "Next week, they start homeschooling!" I would be all with that if possible since so many illnesses are spread at school. Do you have any cute sayings or stories today to share about youngsters? Photo Credit: Pixabay, Public Domain

What do you mean? You're still a youngster yourself.

@kareng Some of us pretend to be older than we really are...

I wish I could think of something. However, I do know kids have no filter.

None lately. She would miss her friends if she was home schooled

I know a little girl who used to ask her grandfather to 'come and sit under me', meaning she wanted to sit in his lap. lol

You have to admit that youngsters are quite aware of what is going on around them!
