It makes me laugh that the Batesville Mississippi Police Department have a sense of humor dealing with an emu that ran away from her home on Friday February 7 by placing a wanted poster warning people who see the animal not to attempt to capture the emu. The police are asking anyone who sees the emu who has a wanted poster bearing her likeness with the title "Emu The Great." to contact the police who will be gentle in their attempt to capture the emu and reunited her with her owner. That's a great poster. I hope the police are able to apprehend the emu.

I hope that the police can capture the emu safely and reunite her with her owner.

That is amusing. The emu might have a certain destination in mind and might not want to be captured

Not as tall as an ostrich, but still pretty tall, and I would take their warning and keep well away from an outlaw emu, on the loose.

That is true since even the Three Stooges in their video short movies during World War II knew better to mess around with an ostrich or emu.
