Not wasting a drop of milk!

Milk can

I don't do this often, but this is how I try to extract the last few drops of milk from the can. Flip it and leave it for a few minutes while brewing the coffee. I did it today because I had just enough milk for the coffee and felt too lazy to open the next can from the refrigerator. My mum used to regularly add a swish of water to the milk can or packet at the end t rinse and get the last few drops sticking to the sides out. Well, that's my weird story for the day. Am I the only one - or do you also try to get the last few drops of milk, oil, jam, speeds and toothpaste out?

@pitstop I sometimes microwave a jar for a very short while to soften the last of the contents. And I push toothpaste etc from the bottom until it's hard to get any more out. Then I cut off the flattened tube and get the last bits from the opening with a wooden spatula. I do this just because I'm interesting in how much I can get out not because I'm paranoid about using every last bit.

I don't with milk, but I do with other items like ketchup, mayo and other items which have gone up due to inflation. Wish I could do that with eggs, lol.

We call that a bottle in the US. Funny how words are different place to place. What do you call a big truck that we call a "semi"? A "lorrie"? I have to step into the "lift" right now. Just kidding. I have not been in an "elevator" for a week.

I just used a random word. Bottle seems more appropriate. Too lazy to change it now.

I do my best to drink every drop of water and milk in my cereal due to money being tight.
