Saturday Ramblings

Today was a very nice day outside. Once we finally got up and got to moving around, we decided to ride up the road to one of the country Churches. They were having their Spring Garage Sale so we went to see what they had.
This is the same Church where I did a vendor event at in September 2024. They had told me that they would be having another Arts & Crafts Sale and a Garage Sale in the Spring and I was looking forward to it. When I saw the flier for the event, it only had Garage Sale on it.
My husband road along with me and we got there right before time to pick everything up. I saw a lap quilt and crocheted lap blanket that was marked down to under $5. I was mad at myself for not getting them after we had left. I did fine some good books and a box of cookbooks that were only $1.00 each. I ended up with 4 new cookbooks.
Other than that the day was spent feeding and watering pets, washing dishes, and one load of laundry. I have to make another run through the kitchen and stick a few more things in the dishwasher. Then I am off to bed!

We didn't do a whole lot, after a full week we kind of lounged most of the day. It is about time for night meds and curling up for bed.

@kareng You stayed up way longer than I thought you would last night. I'm finally eating breakfast before we try to figure out what we are going to do today.

I think my husband distracted me. I was thinking in my mind that I would swing back around and get them. Then I looked through the books and cookbooks. Needed change from my purchase and the man had to go find his wife to get my change. My hubby was bored and waiting at the door for me. Oh well. Not a big deal.
