A Detroit Liona fan who resides in Wayne County in Michigan bought a lottery ticket on the day of the Lions playing a playoff game that they lost to the Washington Commanders in Ford Field. The name of the lottery decided not to reveal his identity since he purchased a VIP Cashword scratch off lottery ticket at a gasoline station in Warren that resulted in winning a prize of $500,000 dollars. The lottery winner has mixed feelings since even though his favorite football team lost a playoff game, the money he won will be used to feed his family as well as buy items that he needs. The old saying is true which is "You win some and then you lose some." or 'Bittersweet." Link is upi.com/3281740086267 via @upi

If I won a lot of money I don't think I'd let my name be published either.

I do not blame him either since many persons who will claim to be his relatives will ask him for his money.

Luckily, in my state, winners are allowed to remain anonymous. I would DEFINITELY opt for that.

That must be nice. It certainly makes up for the loss.

It made the lottery winner feel a little bit better.
