No Flea Market Today!

As I told you yesterday, I was very tired when I got home from the event. Today I'm better, but have all the sore muscles from packing, loading and unloading boxes, etc.
What I didn't mention yesterday was that I stopped at the flea market which was in the same small town to tidy up. When I walked in the ladies in the office were excited to see me because I haven't seen the weekend crowd that I normally work with there since the middle of December.
So I had to sit in the office for a bit and chat to catch up on things. Then I went to my booth to tidy up. It wasn't bad because one of the weekend workers has been picking up here and there for me because she thought either I was sick or something bad happened.
Before I was finished tidying up, I was asked to please come help in the office and asked to PLEASE help. There was an emphasis on "help" and I got the message. There were 3 ladies in the office working. We usually get along fine with 3 in the office on weekends. But, the owner's girlfriend was there and let's just say she is a bit "slow." She can't figure out what needs to be done without being told. Whereas, normal weekend workers try to expedite the checkout and have things on counter and grouped with same numbers to make things run faster and smoother. It's just less work and keeps the line moving. So I gladly went to help out. It was a busy day and we had people checking out appliances, which needs someone to stay with them to make sure they don't tear up the machine, people wanting in locked boxes all at the same time and that requires a worker to stand by the case. So we kept all four people busy.
So today, I am just staying home and resting. Not driving back to flea market today. I will focus on resting up, working on Ebay listings, and maybe looking for that lost key. Oh and I need to get some body butter samples put into those little pods.

I had lunch. I had plans to go somewhere, but the DST snoozies knocked that out, so I’m just going to bed.

I've been watching some fanfics of the Jurassic Park movies. I enjoyed all but one of them so far... That one jumpscared me... I decided to come check in on myLot for a little bit.

@kareng I've done dishes twice so far today. The dishes Pretty used during the night and the bowl and spoon I dirtied up this morning...
Did you watch that second Jurassic Park movie? When the black girl was going to stick her head out the hole under that shed and the raptor went to bite her? I jump every time I've watched that movie.

@DaddyEvil Nope, I rarely watch television or movies!
Yep, I have another round of dishes as we had some leftover gumbo for dinner tonight. My hubby put it on to warm up and of course instead of getting a 3-4 quart pan, he gets a big dutch oven size pot out.

You were a busy little beaver yesterday, good for you for taking the day today for yourself.
We need to do that after such a busy day.
My day has been pretty chill, I have been enjoying the lovely sunshine.
I even wiped down our patio furniture a little while ago.

@kareng This week will be a nice spring weather week.
It seems that when the time change comes along, and the sun is in the sky closer and for a longer time, we warm up so quickly. I am ready for that.
I noticed a bit of growth in the ground in the planter where I have some autumn sedum last week already, that will continue to grow with the warmer weather.

Sounds quite busy. I'm tired from reading it. lol. Our Sunday was just a day out in the garage and doing some yard cleanup since we had a sunny, warm day finally. Crushed some cans, raked a few leaves and cleaned out the remains of the mulch beds and I even did some overseeding.

I couldn't do that much without the car Sunday, but did my steps, did some laundry and made dinner for friend when he came down

Weekends are crazy there now. To think when I first moved in there that one person handled the office all weekend. Now we need at least two, three preferred. The parking lot fills up solid and people have to park out by the road and down the road.

We have those places here, Calhoun pickers, Irondale pickers and more. All owned by the same people. I used to have a booth at the Calhoun one, my brother and his wife still do.
