Yesterterday we had light problems. But today it was only part of it. The local TV is not working (no news then) but I can watch Netflix.
I dinned light and made a strawberry smoothie as desert.
Tomorrow, at noon, Dixie will come to pick me up so that we can have our vaccine. At this point of my life I have no idea if it is for covid or for flu. But as they are saying that old people should have it, I´ll go and put my arm for it. My last vaccine was a year ago when I went for Christmas to Tania´s house. She needed a vaccine and I went with her. I asked the nurse if I needed it and after checking online she told me that I could have it.
Sleep tight, friends. See you tomorrow.

I hope you have a good night tonight and enjoy Dixie's company tomorrow.
How is Dixie doing now? I hope she's feeling much better.

She has had problems one after the other. Today she went to nurse her sister in law who had cancer surgery last week. And tomorrow she is going to check her leg and then to pick me up for the vaccine. She should have been called Mother Theresa.

I am sorry about your TV, but at least you can watch something.
It seems it is very difficult to keep Dixie down for very long. Mother Theresa may be the right name for her. I hope you can share some quality time and a smile or two together.

@marguicha It does seem that problems follow some people and their friends/family. Sometimes, taking care of everyone around us is the only way we should be.

Hope Dixie is doing good. It's easy to check what we need now

It seems your day was full of small inconveniences and simple pleasures. With Netflix working, at least you had some entertainment. A light dinner with a strawberry smoothie sound refreshing and healthy. I also had something similar. It’s good that you’re keeping up with your vaccinations, even if you’re not exactly sure which one it is this time. Dixie picking you up makes the things easier and more reassuring. Good to know you got your last vaccine while supporting Tania. Staying on top of your health is always a good choice. Hopefully, the local TV gets fixed soon and you could catch up on the news. Wishing you a good sleep and restful night !
