Afternoon Tea at the Alice in Oxford

United States
March 13, 2025 5:22am CST
As I recall, there really is nothing to match an English afternoon Tea. Have you had one ever? Usually tis lovely sannies packed with tastiest and then the lovely pastries and sponges as well. If you have, what is your favorite 3 o'clock tea item? To go with your tea as you please, Alice. I still observe the custom to this day at 3PM in my house, everything stops for tea.

That sounds lovely. There is a place here in our city that has afternoon during the spring, summer and autumn seasons. I don't think that they do it during the winter time.

I think that's the coolest thing! I've never had an English tea.

I just think it's wonderful that you've kept up this tradition. I would read about 'high tea' in books when I was a child.

Ohhh, I love that you have tea time ! I drink tea in the mornings, but that's not the same as a proper English afternoon tea. I would love to try those tasty treats!
