I got to hang with the Minister!

We had corned beef and cabbage after this morning's services. The Minister wound up sitting with me, and we discussed our old college in Iowa! We were there (at the College) at the same time (she was a year behind me), and discussed our favorite places to study, to hang out, etc. We even knew some common people.
After lunch, Durt Cheap had a really long practice session. Too long. I was exhausted by the time I got home. Tomorrow night we have a gig at a local golf course. It will be slighty awkward for me, for reasons I'll explain in another post down the road. But I'm sure we'll do "fine."

It was a good day, and I visited with the minister as well and shared some memories--in this case the minister is my brother. We traveled home. It is a good start to spring break.

It's nice to reminisce with old friends. I found an old friend on Facebook that I had not talked to in decades. That was fun. She still lives in the same town and in the same house.
