With the cold weather, I decided to warm me up from the inside out. So, instead of drinking coffee, I remembered that I had bought some chia tea that our local store owner makes . I also figured that one cup wouldn't be enough, so I got my "cup" that one of my friends made me. It's one of those that if you put hot liquid in it it will stay hot and if you put cold liquid in it it stays cold. It held about 2 coffee cups of water that I heated up in the microwave and put the chia tea in the hot water. Now, I'm warming up!!! Seems like ever since the flood, I get chilled to the bone, so when I drink something warm, I get warmed up from the inside out. (Don't know if that make sense, but how I feel!!!)

I get it. Our house was built in 1860 and has high ceilings. When the temperature drops below 30, it is cold in here. When it goes into the low 20's and teens, it is very cold in here. No insulation and can't put any in either! So hot tea in the evenings and at night are my warm up!

That is exactly how I feel about warming up with warm beverages. I am drinking hot broth right now.
