A Slow Day Today

It's been a slow day for me. Both my hubby and I got up early today, but because it was cold lounged in bed most of the morning. We had coffee and raspberry danish in bed and watched television.
I finally got up and took care of all the animal. I had a few more things to tag for the flea market, but didn't feel like doing it. So I went back outside and picked up limbs. I also started a fire and burned some. The wind was only around 5 mph so we kept it low with big logs on and a slow burn.
Fixing to go prepare something for dinner tonight. I think it may be leftovers. I don't have much motivation today.

It was cold yesterday morning with a chilly breeze. We went grocery shopping but I couldn't see and Pretty didn't want to get groceries. We forgot milk and several other things we needed. She makes me mad sometimes.
My eyes started opening up around 3 am today so I'm trying to catch up on myLot.

@DaddyEvil It's been crazy here. My car has been covered with the pollen. Got it washed and right back on it. Grrr.

Yes, pollen and dust in the air can both irritate my eyes and make them water a lot. I'm also allergic to both pollen and dust so that's not helping matters.

@wolfgirl569 I checked the 10 day forecast last night and it looks like Thursday night was our last night in the 30's for awhile. I was surprised to see no nights in the 40's either. This weather is very bizarre right now.

I had a terrific day!!! I went to lunch, got everything I needed from the store, and even ran into an old boss (from 20+ years ago) at Walmart! Got the lights put up, took a nap, and had a wonderful evening!

It's nice to just have a lazy day, sometimes, especially when it's cold. I can't get motivated when it's cold, even when I know moving around wil warm me up!

Honestly, it sounds like a wonderful day. Even breakfast in bed!! Sometimes, we just need to slow down and appreciate time spent together.

That actually sounds like a pretty peaceful day! A slow morning in bed with coffee and danish sounds like the perfect way to start. And getting outside for a bit, even just to pick up limbs and keep a small fire going, is a nice balance.
Some days, motivation just isn’t there, and that’s okay—leftovers are a great solution! My day was good. Hope you have a relaxing evening!

That's what we do when the weather isn't right to do anything
but stay in & being lazy but I hope in the next 6 wks the
weather changes where we can get something going
with the cabin, cause we still have a good bunch of stuff
to get done yet inside b-4 we can move outside of it.
