The Sun is Shining But So Wet From Thunderstorms This Morning

We had another round of severe thunderstorms this morning and man did it rain hard! I have inches of water holding in a couple of flower pots outside that never hold water after a rain. And yes, they have drainage holes in the bottom of them!
The sun is out now and it is pretty. But the ground is very soggy. Can't do much at all out there. However, the hubby did tackle the fence row for a little while cutting stuff down. He said he needs the tractor now to bring it all to the fire pit. Speaking of which, I have only cleared one pile out of 4 that he has surrounded the burning pit area with.
I have looked some more for the lost cell phone to no avail. My husband looked around the yard. He was sure it was under the shed where the tractor is parked and my old greenhouse is. Nope, he struck out too. I think the old

I didn't go anywhere that day...I was getting ready to go to the flea market. Looked thru all that stuff I was working on and with, all over and in my bed, under it, etc. I had been on my phone in bed after I woke up. I don't think it went out of the bedroom because I didn't do much that morning. Was just feeding animals and leaving. Only I didn't get to go!

@RasmaSandra I looked there too and against the legs of the bed. Someone suggested that with the phone maybe blending in to where it isn't noticed. I'm just ready to give up at this point. It's making my crazy!!

We had a little rain a couple of days back; but now it is sunny. Going by the forecast; we are goinbv to have rain continuously for next five days. But it is sunny now and there is no signs of rain

We had some thunderstorms Saturday morning, but it dried up later in the day. I think the ground just soaked it all up. We really haven't had a lot of rain. Sorry to hear you still haven't found your phone. That's got to be frustrating. In any event, onward and upward.

@kaylachan That's true too for very short showers! All that steam comes up out of the roads.

@kareng They can be annoying, because in florida, especially during the summer, they make everything more humid.
