Our dining room furniture is here

We had a delivery scheduled today for our dining room furniture. The time window was 12:45 - 2:45. It kept changing twice. The guys finally came a bit after four o’clock.
This is our new dining table and chairs. The table top is laminated ceramic with glass underneath. It is extended in the picture but I want to fold it to its normal size as I prefer it smaller.
Compared to our old table now there’s more empty space between the table and couch so will have to figure out what to do with that. It seems weird when there’s lots of empty space.
There should be six chairs but one chair had a damage on it so they took it away and will deliver a new one. I hope we didn’t miss any other damages.
I did not get any warranty for the table and chairs. I hope that wasn’t a mistake on my part.

That's a nice looking table! Thankfully, the company is replacing the damaged chair for you!
When I bought my new bedroom furniture (bed, nightstands, dresser, mirror), the dresser arrived with damage in one corner. With my master carpentry skills, I was able to repair the damage with some wood putty and matching stain to where you can't even tell there was ever a problem. But at the time of delivery, I called the company to report the damage and told them I wanted a discount on what I paid or else I was going to refuse the entire order. They offered me a 10% refund. I took the offer. Saved me close to $300. And it only cost me about $10 in materials to fix the damage to the dresser!

It is weird but delivery guy told me Bloomingdale’s was going to contact me about that chair yesterday and they never did.

I hope there’s nothing I missed. Sucks one had a damage. Now I have to worry about when the replacement chair will come. I’ve not received a call back yet about it.

I think so too. And it’s not bulky either. I also like that it has four legs instead a big thing in the center to hold it up.
