Surprise!

Monday I went to the eye doctor and was examined and told to go out front to choose my new eye glasses. I will be getting 2 pair because I have Vertigo from my ear drumb being ruptured. Wearing glasses with a line in them might make me dizzy. I was told the glasses would be made and be at the office in about a week and a half to two weeks. I am thinking that was fast. Then today about lunch time I got a notification telling me that my glasses were done and had arrived at the office! Surprise!

When we got new glasses at Walmart three years ago, they came in really fast, too. About a week, if I'm remembering correctly. Congratulations! I hope you enjoy them.

Thanks! I haven't got them yet. I am going to have to wait till I can get a ride via my insurance company. I started to go to Walmart but the eye doctors keep quiting there. And my mom said that her and her brother got glasses there and they had to return them because they didn't work well.

@dfollin You're welcome. Hopefully you can pick them up soon. Every Walmart is different. Some stores do have a higher turnover. I'm never sure why that happens but know it's a thing. (I know the Aurora, Missouri Walmart used to have a high turnover in employees because the manager was gay and kept propositioning the male employees so they'd quit. I had several friends working there when he started. The manager finally got fired and things are better at that store now.)

The doctor wouldn’t give me bifocal’s at all. She said because of my Vertigo it would be better to have 2 pair of glasses.

Didn’t get them yet. They came in from the place the makes the glasses to the eye doctors office. The insurance company transportation department will not give me a ride to there for 3 business days! So I can’t get there till Thursday..
