There was a time when I was interested in collecting hats and also wearing them.
Whichever country I visited I would get one and felt nice looking at my collection.
The one that I wear now while going out is not in the photo and this I had asked my friend from the US to get it It is black in colour and quite protects me from the sun. More than protecting me from the sun it keeps my hair in place while traveling
The one I bought from Nassau Island (Bahamas) was from a market there mostly run by locals. I almost lost my 100 dollars as I had given a hundred dollar bill and the shop owner told me she would go and get the change. I followed her as I suspected that she was running away with the money. I got the change

@LadyDuck How things have chanaged today. These days women are seen wearing noodle strapped tops and mini skirts leave alone covering their head.

@allknowing Women who had their head "uncovered" were given a veil at the entrance of the Church. I had a veil that I had bought in Spain that I used to go to the Mass in the Capel of our school.

@allknowing I do have a hat that looks like an old tv character's hat. But I had thought about buying one a few years ago, but I haven't.
