Finished just in time

I spent another four hours or so working on garden bed #2, turning the soil and adding more from the Big Yellow Bag in my driveway, and repairing a couple corners... reused old fence boards don't last forever, y'know. And just when I figured I'd had enough fresh air and exercise for the day, a few drops fell. By the time I'd washed up and had something to drink, the rain came pouring down slantwise. I would have been soaked if I had insisted on doing more.
Now, what shall I have for my dinner?

Sounds like me when I had a garden in Latvia, Sometimes I could hardly unbend my back but felt good getting everything done,

When I was younger I could spend all day working on the garden but I have to pace myself now in my old age.

Beans, peas, carrots, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, maybe some beets, corn, peppers. Then there's the strawberries, raspberries and rhubarb that are there year round in their own sections. I forgot: potatoes, too.

@BarBaraPrz About the same here! Not sure if I will do Okra this year. My husband is the only one that eats it. I was thinking of trying beets. A couple that you don't have on your list that I will have are eggplant and squash.

It's 4:25 am; and I can hear the rain starting up. That's a long time to work in the garden.
