Behind that lady buying lottery tickets. Ever been there?

I always chuckle to myself when I wind up that person buying lottery tickets. "I'll have a number seven, and a five, and three tens." I look down and try to be polite. "Oh, and a couple of number eights." I don't have to make eye-contact with Suki behind the counter. He knows what I am thinking. Do they have "the lottery" where you live? Have you ever wound up in line behind someone buying lottery tickets? What goes through your mind?

I always wonder if they know the odds are higher that you’ll be struck by lightning than win the lottery. Obviously, I’m not talking about the measly $20 scratch offs that don’t even pay for how many times they’ve won nothing.

Yes, we have the lottery here. My daughter gets my ticket, so she's probably the one others talk about.

@TheHorse .......Yes, back when the lottery first started up in Idaho. There weren't so many players and I won quite often.

I have my husband's 2nd cousin buy my tickets for me. I've played the same numbers since 1989. I think it's time for me to win.
