Jupiter Florida Police Officers (JPD) Riley Schneider and Jheri-Lynn Palmeri answered an emergency call from the parents of one year old toddler whose gender was not released to the public nearly drowned in a swimming pool on Sunday afternoon. Both police officers who were trained in saving lives used Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on the toddler who was unconscious until Palm Beach County Fire Rescue personnel took over to revive the toddler and take the child to a local hospital. The question is where were the parents of guardians of the toddler when the incident took place since a one year toddler should be watched closely when a toddler is near a body of water. I am in agreement with you that the two police officers as well as the first responders are heroes.

Yes, where were the parents? This won't be the last call like this either. Parents need to be more aware and put up gates or something to keep little ones out of the pools. I am seeing that these little ones are being taught to swim earlier in their lives, too, which I found interesting.

I have heard that children today are rushing to raise their children too fast these days.

@Deepizzaguy .......And there is the fact that kids are smarter at an earlier age now too.

It does make one wonder where were the parents of that baby.

Clearly the parents are at fault and I hope the child will be all right,

You are right that the parents need to do a better job of watching their children.

Maybe the parents were caught napping, and the toddler toddled off by themselves. It was fortunate that the toddler could be revived, and will be ok, after such an incident.

You are right that the toddler snuck out of the home behind his or her parents backs.
