Meet The Newest Addition to Our Family - Oliver

This is the excitement I was hoping for today.
Hubby and I have been watching a no-kill animal shelter site and this cute baby showed up a few days ago.
His name is Oliver. He's 7 years old. He's front de-clawed. He weighs 17 pounds.
He's been at our hour for about 3 hours now and he's settling in just fine. He hasn't been a bit skittish. He's jumped up on the beds and he's played with the furry mice and he lets us pet him and brush him and rub his belly.
I had a hole in my heart from where Cricket died a year ago. Oliver is filling that hole now.

@looeyville Pleased for the 3 of you. Does this mean I have to acquiesce to my wife’s desire to replace the cat that we lost a year ago?

That is exciting! You did a good thing. He's really cute and you might have him for a good long time if you are lucky! He's a big boy .bigger than Nico who is no lightweight.

What a lovely looking cat he is.
He is a big boy, isn't he?
It sounds like he has already decided that you and your hubby belong to him.
