I Don't Know What I am Supposed to be Learning

..from all this in life. Have you ever thought this? What is the lesson here? Someone said to me recently that all the intense hardship we are dealing with lately is a learning experience. Well, I don't agree. I have been done with learning years ago. I already know the lessons of being backed into a corner! What say you, do you like to keep learning about hardship? I certainly don't. There is no benefit to being turned upside down with your wheels spinning, getting nowhere.

Yes, indeed. After so many, they leave 'learning experience' far behind, don't they? These types who say such things are the same ones making six-digit salaries for doing nothing but lie.

@Beestring I am so sorry and you know they say time heals but when you are so close, it really is a hard time to try to fathom why. Rest in peace..

@RebeccasFarm I went through some tough times too recently. My beloved brother passed a year ago suddenly. We had a very close relationship. I still miss him a lot.

Everything, good or bad, is an experience . . . I "suppose" we can always learn, but yah, PHOOEY on the learning part. We already know what the bad feels like . . . it's draining and it gets old. We just want to get through it and have it behind us.

This is one of those things where people try to put a positive spin on events that are less than positive

I get where you're coming from, but I think it depends on how you view hardship. Personally, I think there's no need to keep learning the same lessons over and over. Once you've been through the grind, it’s more about moving forward, not just learning from the struggle. Sometimes, it feels like you're stuck in a loop, and that can get frustrating.

We experience hardship in life due to several reasons. It can be due to failure in relationships, finances, illness in the family, legal matters and a lot more. We don't know when it could happen to us, no one knows. We may be very careful and everything we do as planned but for just one mistake, either us or someone from the family, something could happen that will break everything we've been saving for a long time. Life has ups and down, and for me, the best that I could do is to stay humble and to be kind always. We should not forget to thank the Lord for everything and when things go wrong, we should not forget that He is always there for us.

Thank you for your input in this fact of life for many people. I hope you have been able to sort out that issue I remember you were talking about a long time ago. I am sorry this happened to you also.

I agree with you, Oshy. Some lessons seem redundant.
