Its been hard to get everything done this year. My husband and I were together 40 years and he passed away. I know it gets better in time. but right now I'm not there now. Any tips appreciated. I have been writing in a notebook and remembering better times over the years. Hope all are well.

That might be the only way write or something to get the emotion out. Time does not heal wounds, it just makes you feel better because you think you understand it better. That's all I got mother and two favorite dogs will make me cry like a baby till this day, but it will be a happy cry. Sorry for your loss, it stings for a long time , but good people music and other things.

just pray that your husband is at peace in the afterlife, don't get lost in sadness or your health will decline let's start thinking forward to live and be enthusiastic about life by doing positive activities or activities so that little by little it can be cured may God bless you, O strong woman

Thanks and yes I'm looking forward, as he is no longer in pain. I plan to do more walking this spring and saying hello to my neighbors.

@Fishmomma That's right, so that the brain can refresh a bit to calm down and take a walk because life must go on

@Fishmomma I don't know what else to suggest but try to be kind to yourself and give yourself time to get over your loss. It takes longer for some than for others.
