Friday's shopping trip down town.

I didn't tell you about my shopping trip down town again on Friday! It was a warm day so I didn't wear a coat. I went on the top path round Stowe Pool as usual. I went to the toilet by the Cathedral. Then I went to the photo expert shop and got some photos printed. My Mum didn't want much again on Friday. I didn't need anything from WH Smith or Holland and Barrett. So I went straight to The Works. I was looking for an A3 folder to put my art project painting in. I couldn't find a folder, but there was an A3 carry case for £6 which had an elastic X shaped thing inside to hold your work in place. As it was only £6 I thought I'd get it and let the guy have it when I gave him the painting. I also got a little box of pencils, with a rubber and pencil sharpener included. That was also £6 and a bag for £1 made the total £13. When I'd payed for those, I went to the Oxfam bookshop again. This time I was only looking for an opera CD. I was looking for something by Puccini or Verdi, but there were no opera CDs by Puccini or Verdi. So I got a CD of an opera, I think it's by Strauss II, and I think it's the one that translates to "The Bat" but I'll have to check on that. And I can't remember, or pronounce, the title. I will edit this later to tell you what it actually is! That was £2.99. So I payed for that. Edit:- It is Die Fledermaus - and yes, it does translate to The Bat. Lastly I went to Iceland (the shop not the country). My Mum just wanted a paella, so I thought I'd go in, grab the paella and pay. But when I got in they'd moved things around again! The fish, which was most recently in isle 2, is now in isle 1 just after you come through the door! Oh, no! I thought! Now I'm going to have to go round the whole shop looking for the paella! Fortunately, the paella was in relatively the same place, so I didn't have that problem. Phew! So I payed for that with the £5 note my Mum had given me. It was £3.50. So Mum got the lovely sum of £1.50 change! I went to the toilet by the Cathedral and then I went home. My Mum was out. She'd gone to the house group that meets at Church, then straight from there Dawn took her to the doctor again. So it was a while before she got home. So I put her change on the coffee table. Then I unpacked the groceries and put them away. I had my lunch and watched some telly. Then I went into my bedroom and made some videos and put them up on YouTube. What have you lot been getting up to over the weekend? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

Yes, I did enjoy it. As I was coming passed Minster Pool to go home, there were a load of seagulls swooping down.. That sounds interesting. What topics are you researching? You have a good week too.

@sharonelton ........They can get mean. Come right up to you if you are eating something. I research about whatever interests me. Aging, sleep, nutrition, old Hollywood, etc.

@sharonelton Sometimes vegan products don't taste as good as the non-vegan ones. I'm glad your mayo tasted okay.

@JudyEv Sounds great. I got a bottle of vegan mayonnaise the other week, but I had to get a really big one as there weren't any small ones available. Tastes just like normal mayo so that's good.
