After beaming with pride about how beautiful tariffs are, trump declares Amazon, "hostile" for its plan to list tariff costs for customers per product

trump and his nodding cronies are either proud of tariffs or not. Suddenly, when the light will be put on them in consumer meaningful terms, they suddenly don't want that spotlight. They view such an action as "political and hostile." Maybe tariffs are only beautiful when you don't see them up close...? 1-hour later EDIT: Amazon backtracks and claims they never were seriously considering doing this... it was just something under consideration.

It's as though they are not aware that social media captures everything that was originally said.

Politics aside, it seems like a useful customer service... no difference than itemizing out sales tax. Amazon needs a shot of courage... or backlash... or competition from another retailer to do it first.

Nothing makes a lot of sense anymore. Like everything else, it's only OK if HE says so.
