Happy Tuesday Everyone! it's a gorgeous day here today. Sunny and the temperatures will reach the 80s F. Just might have to turn on the a/c this afternoon if it gets too hot. The dog groomer was supposed to come today but she texted last night if we could change it to tomorrow. It really didn't make a difference to me since I'm the one who has to let her in since my daughter works. Once we got that settled she texted back could we change the time from 10am to 11am. Geez, it doesn't sound like we're off to a good start and most of you know how unreliable she is and that she's notoriously late. But, the dog is a mess and really needs grooming so I'm hoping that it all goes well tomorrow. Lately I've been reading before I go to bed and just finished two books. The Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yaros (book one of the Empyrean series). @JordanLader was talking about this series and it sounded really good. Turns out my granddaughter has all 3 books so she lent them to me. This book was well worth the read even though it was 500 pages. It took me awhile to get through it but boy was it good. Last night I finished Crosshairs by James Patterson which is book 16 in his Detective Michael Bennett series. (yes I've read the whole series). Now it's time to pick a book to read tonight. Do I want to start book 2 in the Empyrean series or read something else before I get back into that. I'll probably be reading more as the weather is nice and I can sit outside. If I sit on my front porch I can spy on the neighborhood and see what's going on. If I sit on my back deck it's more countrified and quiet. Can't say there's much going on today.
