Marc Haug who is a schoolteacher and founder out a charity in New Jersey did his part to assist residents and firefighters in Ocean County New Jersey by giving them free food and drinks on Wednesday April 23. Marc is doing this act of kindness since he lost his home to Superstorm Sandy in 2012 was able to serve around 150 to 200 persons when they returned to their homes after the firefighters were able to slow down the effects of the fire. I am sure that the both the firefighters and residents are grateful for the work of charity that Marc provided for them. Link is indystar.com/story/news/loc... via @indystar

That's a wonderful thing he is doing. I guess having lost his own home he feels a lot of empathy towards those who have been affected by the fires.

Most likely Marc losing his home did cause him to assist others in time of need.

With no sponsor to help him, this is a huge act of charity on his part to provide so many free meals at his own expense.
