I thought that was a GREAT IDEA so the MAGA cult could actually see what his idiotic tariffs would do to their budgets. Well apparently as soon as that news broke Cheeto flipped his lid and called his buddy Jeff Bezos (who owns Amazon) to demand that he not do it. The first stories coming after that were that Amazon was just throwing ideas around. New reporting now says that no Trump actually DID call Bezos to read him the riot act. Bezos is a P-word for folding. This reminds me of Trump's handling of COVID. He wanted to limit/stop testing for the virus so the numbers would go down. Um not having the test results didn't mean that the virus wasn't affecting those who contracted it. But at that point in 2020 all he cared about was being re-elected so he didn't want people to be scared of a potentially lethal virus that killed over 1000000 Americans in like 2 years. America First, right? Now he wants the actual cost increases from his moronic tariffs to be hidden because if people can't see them then they don't exist, right? Guess the tariffs aren't as beautiful and amazing to get more foreign money into the US Treasury. Non-MAGA people with a functioning pre-frontal cortex already knew that they were going to be destructive. The ones who will be bankrupted have no clue what they are in for. Too bad Bezos has no balls. We already know what his rocket looks like.
