There are people in the world who used to want to come to the US. They wanted to see Yellowstone or visit Washington D.C., see the Statue of Liberty, or New England, or so many other things that this great country has to offer. But, now some countries' officials are telling their citizens not to travel here because there is the threat of being kidnapped off the street for no apparent reason. We all no the story behind Canada's opinion of us now. But, to listen to Trump, this is not the case at all. In a recent interview, he said things like "Tourism is up", We're doing really good", and Wait about six months and see the real numbers". Yeah right. Get a load of these records. * International travel to the US airports is down 1.5% *Summer flight bookings from Europe are down 2% * Summer flight booking from Asia is done 4% * Summer flight bookings from Canada are down 21% * Canada air traffic to the US is down 13.5% * Canada road travel to the US is down 32% This means that just the Canadian travel will cost the US $6 billion in revenue and will jeopardize more than 140,000 hospitality jobs. I hope we all can have a decent summer. The picture is from my collection.

I'm so glad the liberals won in Canada yesterday. It is a blow to Trump.

We've been hearing some awful stories about people being arrested for no reason at all.

Yes, and it doesn't stop there. I hope you will read my most recent post about dossiers.

@celticeagle I've just read it but it's a bit hard to know how much to believe. People will tell you anything these days but it's the sort of thing that could happen easily enough.

Quite troubling figures. No easy fixes either. Yet I believe that a lot of it is short term and sanity and balance would prevail in the coming years.

No, easy fixes. It will take a long time to recover from what he has done. I wish he were sane but I don't think he is.

Yes, and he is even saying he is the most powerful man in the world right now. Scary.
