Question do you think 3 skeins of yarn this size would be enough to make a baby blanket I have someone in the family that is having a baby and I want to make them a blanket.

For a basic baby blanket, I used a little less than 3 skeins of medium weight yarn. It honestly depends on how tightly you crochet and how big you're making the blanket... If I were using that yarn, I'd buy 4 skeins and hope I had enough. Good luck with your project. I'm sure it will turn out beautifully.

I've never used that kind of yarn so couldn't help you with an estimate. DE has a good point on it will depend on how tight the stitch is and also what stitch you are using. Good luck and be sure to show us a pic when you are done!

@Tina30219 Amazon is not always cheaper. Many things are higher there. But, worth it to not have to drive to go get it! I don't blame you at all on that one!

I'd be guessing but I think three balls might be touch and go. Crochet takes a bit more yarn than knitting.

I would buy an extra skein just to be on the safe side. You can always return it.
