Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 68 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. It is gorgeous out there!
Work was busy today. The students had fun doing a virtual natural selection simulation. They were busy with that and I was busy with paperwork. I swear just filling out all of the vouchers and written lesson plans for the homebound tutoring is a part-time job in and of itself. The secretary already hit me up for another 1st period coverage in the gym tomorrow. There must be a ton of people taking off if she was already looking for coverages at 10am today.
I have 2 hours of tutoring this afternoon. One is the dreaded APES and the other is bio. I will be happy to say goodbye to the APES assignment next month. The student is planning to take the AP exam in 2 weeks which just blows my mind. There is no way that he knows enough from whatever he did in school and 1 hour a week with me since January. He will get credit in terms of high school credits toward graduation but there is no way he will score high enough to earn college credits.
No big plans beyond tutoring and making dinner tonight. I have been spending some time spot cleaning the carpet each evening in Charlie's favorite spots to pee. 
I have just a little spot cleaning machine. I think I might look into getting a company to professionally clean the carpet though if that is even allowed.
What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

Surely it would be okay for you to hire someone to steam clean the carpet.
That would be nice.
I am sorting out cans of food I don't want to give to leave in the laundry room here for other neighbors.

That apartment complex should be grateful you want to clean the carpet on your own dime.
My best friend is here, and we’re taking a break. My apartment is over half way to being in perfect order. I told her I had enough stuff to give her to make it 15% worthwhile of her time. I think I found enough stuff to make is 33% worthwhile in the end.
She’d do it for nothing though, which I appreciate.

The two cats here have three litter boxes. Apparently they used to pee on the lounge but they've been no trouble for us although we still haven't seen them. They seem to spend all day sleeping under one or other of the beds. The food disappears so they must be here! lol I'm just ignoring them. If they want to be friends, that's fine but trying to force yourself on them isn't going to work with cats.
