Hi there myLotters! I've been busy today and finally made it to the computer. I can't believe it is May already! This year is flying by! We had a lazy morning this morning. For some reason I didn't want to get up. My leg was still bothering me although I got up around 5 am and took my medicine. My husband made coffee for us and some toast for me. He finished off a slice of danish cake in lieu of toast. That will be the majority of his sweets and carbs for the day. I got up and took care of feeding all of the animals. Then got some trash to burn and start the fire and burn more tree trunks, limbs, brush. I will be glad when this part is all over with. But there is a bit left to still clear. Hopefully, that will get done next week. After lighting the fire, I headed over to the garden. I had about 10 watermelon plants ready to go in and tackled that. I got tired about half way, so came inside. My hubby had headed outside in the meantime and he was busy clearing the area where the original store used to be out near the road. He plans on moving his old work car, a Volvo, to that area to get it out of the way of moving the camper. I think I have him talked into putting a For Sale sign on it finally. It's not doing us any good just sitting in the yard, that's for sure. I washed my hair and then headed to town. I had to go to the Co-Op to get layer pellets for the chickens and drop an Ebay package off at the post office. On the way home, I stopped and picked both of us a hamburger from one of the burger places here in town. That's my day. Pretty simple and routine. How did your Thursday and first day of May go?
