Oliver The Cat is Finally Eating!

Hooray, the newly adopted shelter cat is finally eating! We've put dry food, canned food, tuna, bacon, and hot dogs down for him all week and he wouldn't eat any of it. Last night I was having a ham and cheese sandwich and offered it to him and he licked the cheese but didn't eat it. So then this morning hubby's pulling the bag of dry cat food out of the pantry and Oliver hears it and gets excited and starts meowing. Hubby held the bag down and Oliver stuck his head inside and started eating the dry food. So after lunch today we got the bag back out and sat down on the floor with Oliver and poured some of the dry food onto the floor and he ate it just fine. He won't eat out of our hands or out of a bowl. Just straight out of the bag onto the floor. Well at least now we know how to get him to eat.
