Officials with the Animal Care & Control Team (ACCT) in Philadelphia Pennsylvania answered an emergency call from a resident who saw the colorful animal wandering in the front step of their doorstop on Monday April 17.
The ACCT officials were able to safely capture the peacock and take the colorful bird who is the symbol of the American television station National Broadcasting Company (NBC) to the animal shelter where they are hoping to reunite the animal with its owner.

You don't see them around the neighborhood very often. We get turkeys here about once a month or so.

We have them roaming around here and have been seen in our garden in the past several times. Peacocks here are a Nationa bird and we are not supposed to keep them nor kill them.
