Today Felt Like Sunday!

Do you every feel like the day of the week is off to you? Today felt like that to me. I suppose it was because it was very relaxing and a laid back day here. We had thunderstorms in the forecast, but they didn't happen. That system went north of us and that was just fine. We got plenty of rain yesterday. It has been a laid back day and I didn't do much. I did catch up on notifications earlier and cook a pot roast, rice and gravy for dinner. No veggies because I got busy with the one thing planned for this afternoon. I had two team members that wanted to do a Messenger Chat Party. So we did that. They did really good and I imagine will he doing their own hosting now. They did most of the product postings and I kept the conversations going and answered people's questions. We also had some interactive posts that I put up in between their posts. That's all that happened here today. Very relaxed and quiet. What did you have for dinner tonight? Photo Credit: Pixabay, Public Domain

I think I've had too many days inside the house in a row. I go stir crazy with not being outdoors!

Soup, yogurt, and apples. And, for dessert, I get to sleep in my own bed.

I hate when my days are mixed up. I had my usual turkey/cheddar sandwich with Fritos this time.

Today is Sunday in our place and we attended the Holy Mass in the morning. While doing my online earning activities, I am also updating some office reports. It's good to have the report in advance so I could still review before the deadline.

Oh, yes--I've been doing that quite a bit, lately. I believe it was last Saturday I thought was Sonday, and I woke up today thinking it was Wednesday.

Today was Wednesday, but I know it wasn't on the day you answered. I'm way behind on notifications with all the itching going on!

Looks like we will see plenty more rain this week, from Tuesday through Saturday. Boo! I will have to manage a few minutes in the garden tomorrow before hubby's dr. appointment. I'm going with him in case his wound gets debrased, and it probably will.

@JudyEv I do indeed. I did not see sulphur listed in that medication, but a side effect was a rash. Now I am going to go back and see if sulfer is indeed in that medicine and raise $e11, since it is in my records that I am allergic to it. I went to urgent care today and got a cream and some more allergy medicine. Let the clearing up begin!

Yes, but better if you are not itching while trying to relax. I have now broken out all over both legs. I think my neck is starting now . I stopped one of the medications that they gave me for my foot, so hoping it goes away soon or I'm going to the dr. or Urgent Care Tuesday. Hubby has a wound care apt. Monday for his foot ulcer.

@kareng I read your next post about the itching and wondered if you perhaps have a sulphur allergy.

I frequently feel it is a different day of the week, the joys of being retired I guess, the calendar isn't quite so important! Today does feel like a Sunday, since it is. Tomorrow is a Bank Holiday, so that'll feel like a Sunday too!

Sometimes, and moreso now that I am retired. But yesterday felt like Saturday, although it was miserable with heavy rain all day long. Oh well. Can't control the weather. For dinner I made pan fried tilapia and we had salad on the side. Yummy.

I can't eat tilapia anymore after watching a show on how they are raised in captivity for food sourcing.

@porwest Oh I can imagine! My best friend from high school's father owned a pest control business. She went to work for him after she got married and after a few stories from her about local restaurants, I told her not to tell me the stories, just say never eat at xyz!

@kareng If I paid attention to a lot of that, I'd never eat anything. I also worked in food factories for years. Trust me, EVERY single thing you eat has a story behind it you'd rather not know. lol
