Like the rush of the wind,
eighteen is now fifty-seven—
but the girl that I knew is still inside,
dancing barefoot in the snow,
but this time in a puffer coat, earmuffs, hat, scarf, and gloves—
wiser now, but still wild in her wonder,
still chasing stars, still laughing under
the wide-open hush of a winter sky.
Still laughing under the quiet grace of time,
where the winter’s hush brings peace, not strife—
each breath a whisper, still full of life.

What a wonderful piece of poetry. I wouldn't care to dance barefoot in the s**w!!! I will stay inside.

Thank you. I don't have one either, but they seem popular, so I went with it.
