When I was living in Paradise I had to walk up the hill a bit to get on the road, then turn left and go to Dezi's shop.
One day, for no reason, the guy across the road parked in such a way as to block that path. It wasn't an accident. There was no way I could get on the road.
I said nothing.
I turned and walked down the hill to a new shop. It not only has a wider range of goods but was much cheaper.
I had to laugh at the backfiring of my neighbour's action.
I decided to tell him.
I saw him on the road, walked up. You could tell from his expression he expected that I would demand he move his car.
I smiled, which put him off centre. Then I thanked him for forcing me to go to the new shop which was so much better than Dezi.
Before he spoke, I walked back to my door.
He never parked there again.
This kind of ricochet behaviour is not uncommon.
Take Trump's tariffs... everyone is finding new markets and avoiding purchasing American products.
Take his defunding of scientific research... European nations are capturing the scientists.
Every one of his 'attacks' will result in America's loss.

Some people are just contrary like that for no good reason. I'm glad other countries are finding the things they need elsewhere even though the US is losing business because of his stupidity.

@jaylar I know but there's nothing we can do about it yet. But the mid-terms are coming and I think trump has made enough people mad that they'll vote anyone who is against trump into congress then and he won't have the people to back him anymore.

@DaddyEvil that's why he is abusing 'executive orders'... bypassing congress
