Maintenance is coming to repair the broken tiles tomorrow

I called about broken tiles months ago. One of the guys showed up, agreed that they needed to be repaired, and then told me that it would take a couple of months because they were busy renovating and upgrading other apartments. One of them has literally self-destructed and disintegrated to the point where it is dangerous for both me and the cats. I got the email address of the guy who is over the property manager (ironically from my former neighbor who is all pissed at me) and emailed about the situation. He got back to me within 24 hours. The property manager then followed up and said they would be here tomorrow. The head maintenance guy just stopped by to take a look at the situation since he wasn't the one who was here months ago. He thought he was going to have to rip it all out but said he only needed to replace the 5. Whatever. Fine with me. I just want the one that is totally destroyed and dangerous replaced. Anything more is a bonus. I told him I'd be at work tomorrow but he knows that they always have permission to come in here when I'm not around. So hopefully I will get back here tomorrow to solid tiles again. We shall see.
