Let me share something about giving endearing names to special someone. I have had endearing names with my exes in the past. I find it cute to have one or two. There are some people who are not into this. It is not surprising because there is no reason for them to do it. Here are some common endearing names being used: sweetie, love, baby, babe, tart, sweetheart, and so on.
How about you guys?

Old ladies I don't know call me "sweetie" or "hon"... It's a Southern US terms of endearment. I call Pretty "Babe" or "hon".
I was starting to wonder how you've been doing. It's nice to see you.

@Shavkat Once in a while I hear someone call someone else "love", but it's not a name I use for anybody.

I like to use the terms of kindness like "My pigeon" or My little bird."

That's a lovely perspective to share—using endearing names can definitely add a warm, personal touch to a relationship. They often become part of a couple’s unique dynamic and can be really comforting or playful. You're right though, not everyone connects with that style of expression, and that’s perfectly okay too—people show affection in all kinds of ways.
Personally, I think what matters most is that both people feel seen and valued in the way that works for them. It's always interesting to hear the kinds of names people come up with—some are sweet, some are funny, and some are totally unexpected!
Do you have a favorite term of endearment you've used or heard before?
