Good morning and I'm up before the sun came up today! I tried to sleep and dozed for maybe 30-45 minutes before waking up itching like crazy again. I used the new steroid cream I got yesterday right before bed, but it actually doesn't feel like it is working or working yet. My chest is on fire now and has been all yesterday burning and itching. I got the Essential Oil mixture back out and used it after I got up. That is all that I have found that clams this down for any period of time. Yesterday my husband had his wound care appointment for his foot. The PA there that treated him did not think it was an actual diabetic ulcer, but possibly something that got into his foot and got infected or just callus that got infected. She said it appears to have healed just fine and filed off some dead skin. We were both happy to hear that, my husband especially, because he was fixing to have a blood flow test done on his legs. We got out of there mid-afternoon and ran and got some food before heading to Urgent Care so that I could get something for this rash. That was a quick in and out and I came out with 3 prescriptions. One was a steriod cream, one an antihistimine and another for heartburn. Saying humm there on the last one? This doctor told us that they had found that it helps with the healing. Who knows? We were able to make the drugstore right before they closed. I waited until right before bed before I applied the cream, but I was up in less than an hour refilling my essential oil roller bottle.
