I am really happy for the Roman Catholics as they now have a new leader a couple of weeks after the demise of their former pope. I hope the new leader, Pope Leo XIV will lead them well. I also congratulate Americans for having produced this new leader. We in Kenya were also keen and anxious to know who the religious leader would be, and at last we now know!

That is my hope too. I heard in a certain media outlet that some time back there was a conclave that took participants (cardinals) 3 years to elect a pope.

Ow, good to know but, is there any reason to be unhappy about the choice?

I'm really glad God chose the right person to be the Pope. I love that he's American! His personality is seemingly the best way to invite more people into Catholicism.

That is true. All of our newspapers today have the new pontiff's image on their top pages

A New Era has come, this time,i believe the Catholicism will defy those evil like Putin and Communist China, and finally guard people from the Nazi's rise.

I too hope so. The world should be as peaceful as possible for development to take place. Otherwise many people will remain poor and suffering will not end.
