Still grumpy and atrabilious, but with nice flowers.

This small Greek port where I am currently pesenced has been florally titivated since I was here in October, and I’m enjoying the results. At the foot of each tree that lines the road in and out there is now a garden of yellow antirrhinums, blood red geraniums, mauve (don’t like that word) cosmos and white petunias. The same collection of flowers bejewels the flower boxes in town and it’s all very pleasing. So much more colourful than before. Maybe I ought to take a picture to offer proof.
What I didn’t enjoy this evening was, once more, the food. We ended up in a place more suited to teenagers but which was about half full of foreign young sailor type men from the various swanky yachts that have put into harbour. All that was served was various burgers and fries. Yuck. I didn’t come all the way here to eat burgers and fries.
Moreover the giggly girls at the table next to ours were constantly doing stuff on their phones as well as guffawing and yelling at each other. People playing with their devices is actually quite exhausting to be around - they really ought to get a room.

A picture is always nice. Kids can be so annoying. Not always. There's a saying about kids. They either have a good upbringing or do not. It goes something like "There's a big difference between kids who were raised and those who were watched."

I watched a young couple walking up the street today. The guy was leading and was in charge of the dog. The girl was about three metres behind but both had their heads down and engrossed in their phones. Maybe they were ringing each other.

I don't like tables of giggly and loudly laughing patrons. I'm sorry the food was a disappointment again. I'm glad the flowers helped balance your mood.
