Nope, it's not in Australia you don't have far to go if you live in the US, The ranch is in Colorado. It offers up-close and educational encounters with red kangaroos. Two kangaroos are ready to interact with you and make friends. There is even kangaroo yoga.
I thought this was something totally different and new, I hope they have luck with their endeavors. Certainly a different kind of ranch.
Believe it or not, there are four kangaroos living on a ranch on the edge of the Denver metro area – and a recently opened business in Wheat Ridge gives

@TheHorse and I would say at this ranch safer than in the wild where kangaroos are known to strike out at people,

@RasmaSandra I would think that kangaroos would avoid close contact with humans. But I have never met one.

How interesting. I've heard that these fellows can be mean. I wonder if Tiara knows about this place. She lives in Colorado I think. Thanks for sharing it with us.

@celticeagle you welcome. I suppose the kangaroos they have are tame in nature so no one gets hurt,

When I was on a tour of Australia I never go to do that. I only could see them from a distance.

@allknowing well they do say that kangaroos in the wild can be dangerous to approach so just as well but I suppose these kangaroos are tame otherwise they could not let them get near people,

I've never noticed that they have front claws in any of @JudyEvans photos before, but perhaps there are different kinds of kangaroos or they have developed this due to living in an unusual climate.
It should be interesting to see if they can keep these animals alive in the cold climate as Australia is so warm.

@Juliaacv you just brought that to my mind, Whatever will they do with these kangaroos in the winter? They will have to keep them in the house.

@RasmaSandra I question the seasons in general, they are not used to that.
I know that there are animals from Africa in zoos that survive, but they are usually born in captivity and do not have to adapt as it is inbred in them.

@Kandae11 you would expect horses and bulls but not kangaroos,

We have a place here called Kentucky Down Under, and you can feed and play with the kangaroos. I did that a few years ago, and it was a blast!

@JudyEv now that is an interesting question, I asked and Al gave me an answer for you.
Wombats can be found in some zoos and wildlife parks in the US, but they do not exist in the wild.

I wonder what they do with the kangaroos in the winter time?

@LindaOHio I suppose they must have a warm environment in which to keep them,

I had no idea one could cuddle a Kangaroo.
I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.
Their feet could make a right mess of someone ouch!

@Ineeddentures I am sure these are tame kangaroos otherwise they would not risk it,
