Basking in the sun

It amazes me how they know how to get the best out of nature Here is the bird - known as Greater Coucal, basking in the sun It is getting its vitamin D lying like that in our garden. The Greater Coucal is a pretty bird but seeing it around does not make me comfortable as they are seen when they spot reptiles.

I hope there are no reptiles around and the bird is only enjoying a sunbath.
