It’s been three years already

Yesterday (May 10th) marked three years since the passing of my dad. It’s hard to believe so much time has passed already. Time sure flies. Went to the cemetery with my mom today to visit his gravesite. There was a funeral happening close by. Today is Mother’s Day. So sad knowing all those people had to attend a funeral on a day celebrating all mothers. But such is life. Never know what will happen and when.

I'm so sorry. I know the passing of every birthday and anniversary from now on will be rough. It's just not fair.

@lovebuglena You're very welcome. This is the first time I had someone so close pass away. When my parents passed, no one even let me know.

That is so true about us never knowing when ourselves or those we love will pass on.

Life means birthdays and passings. My Dad passed over 30 years and I still miss him.

Thank you. I’m glad I got to take my mom out for Turkish breakfast. She’s been wanting to have that for a while.
