Update: Still Have the Rash...

and I'm still itching too! I'm going bonkers here with the itching. It seems that nothing helps for the long run. For instance, I was talking to an old family friend Saturday, who is a nurse and she was telling me to take Benadryl. I told her that I was allergic to Bendadry, so that was out. Her next suggestion was Prednisone. That rang a bell and I looked in my medicine cabinet and found a bottle that my old rheumatologist had prescribed. It was in 25 mg. too, so shouldn't cause a problem. I took one then and another one around midnight. The itching had subsided. However, it was all back the next morning. I'm trying to keep this in my system and give it a chance to help the rash to heal. I don't have much faith in it though. The rash has spread on to my neck and chest. I think the next target is my wrists and arms because they have been itching, but no rash yet. Hoping this doctor in town has an opening tomorrow or somebody in that practice. I feel like a zombie. I didn't sleep for two whole nights in a row and only getting 2-3 hours at night and another 2 after the sun comes up. Oh, and Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!!
