Egg prices are finally coming down

I seem to recall Trump claiming on the campaign trail that he would bring down their price "on day one" and we are now on day 115+ but they have actually started to decrease.
Of course Trump just couldn't help himself and had to lie by claiming "as you know, the cost of eggs has come down like 93, 94% since we took office." That isn't anywhere close to reality but since when does Trump deal in the truth? The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today that egg prices were down 12.7% last month. That is good. They still are 49.3% higher than they were at this time last year though. Not great.
I've never stopped buying eggs. They are just something that I need to have on hand with all of the cooking and baking that I do. I'll give up a steak or a dozen littleneck clams before I'll give up buying eggs.

Americans have a lot of patience.
Trump has lasted more than 100 days.
The UK got rid of an incompetent oaf of a Prime Minister after 50 days although it is claimed she actually resigned all by herself
Eggs, I love them.
I must eat about 20 eggs every week.
Mostly fried , 4 at a time with about 8 rashers of bacon and toast.

I rarely bake anymore so eggs are just eaten boiled or as scrambled eggs with "stuff" in them here. We stopped buying eggs for months but I bought an 18 pack day before yesterday. (I boiled nine of them and have been eating one or two a day since then.)
