Who Would Do Something Like That?

Hey everyone, how are you all doing?
Yesterday in the news I heard that the water fountain in our town park was vandalized and damaged pretty badly. They don't know who did the damage yet as far as I know - but somebody put something in the water that made bubbles form all through the fountain. Whatever it was damaged the pressure line, or something....and now it will take the city time and money to fix the damage.
Who would do something like that? A better question is why?
The fountain is a big piece of our town park. It's enjoyable to most, especially during all the summer festivities that go on at that park.
Sharing a photo of the fountain (best I could find is one with Eli).

In my city, last night, a group of vandals got into one of the cemeteries, destroyed some tombs and took selfies to get viral. I hope they catch them.

That's a cute picture. I hate vandalism. Kids need something else to fill their time other than destroying other people's property.

@TheHorse Sure this doesn't hurt anyone, but it causes damage that takes lots of money to fix.

I hope they find the person. It might have just been a fun prank in the persons mind. Someone who didn't know how much it could damage stuff

@MommyOfEli2013 When do kids need harsh punishment? When do they simply need therapy? That is my question.

@MommyOfEli2013 Actually, it's a bummer the prank damaged the fountain. I wonder what they used to make the bubbles. And why.

People do not respect public property like they used to.

I don't understand what goes through the minds of these people. Why do they have to spoil something that is for all to share and appreciate ! I hope they find those responsible.
